Bruce Loyd

Bruce Edwin Loyd 59, of Mineral Wells passed away in Dallas on February 13, 2011. He was born June 17, 1951 in Pittsburg, Ca. the son of William and Almedia White Loyd. After serving in the U.S. Army for many years he became a correctional officer. He married Sandra Hill in 1983 and had 27 years of a wonderful marriage, and when he had any spare time he enjoyed woodworking and anything that involved the military. He is survived by his wife; Sandra Loyd, son; David and wife Cindy of Oletha Kansas, brothers; Steve and wife Debbie Loyd of Mineral Wells and James Loyd of Abilene, grandchildren; Richard and wife Ashley, David and great grandchildren Ethan and Chloe with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and a brother; Marvin. A graveside service will be Thursday, February 17th at 3PM at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 16th from 6 to 8PM at Baum Carlock Bumgardner.
