Brenda Carol (B. C.) Lewin, 63, of Mineral Wells took her place in heaven on March 25, 2012 after a long, hard fought battle against the monster called cancer. The disease that ravished her body never touched her spirit. The victory is surely hers as she now stands in her own special garden of sunflowers in a land where she will know no more pain. Her smile that touched so many here on this earth will now be one of the brightest stars in the dark of night. Her faith has given her rest in the arms of the Lord, who has welcomed her home, as her work on earth is done. Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Michael Lewin; son Matt Lewin; daughter Courtney and granddaughter Tyler; brother Bo; sister-in-law Vena; nephews Dustin and Tristan; many beloved cousins; her chosen sisters and YaYas, Carol, Teresa, Linda and Sandy, along with a host of other friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Beyer and Thelma (Floyd) Beyer. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday March 29, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel; the service is Friday at the 11th Avenue Church at 2 P.M.
