Brenda Lee Boyd

Brenda Lee Boyd, 66, of Brownsville, Texas passed away July 13, 2013 in a San Antonio hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25 at Memory Gardens of the Valley Mausoleum Chapel. Brenda was born March 9, 1947, in Arizona. She is formerly of Mineral Wells. Brenda loved kids, especially her nieces and nephews. She was a school teacher, retired from the Brownsville School District where she made and remained friends with many throughout the years. Brenda is preceded in death by her father, William Q. Boyd, mother, Gloria Martin Morris and step-father, William H. Morris, Jr., and sister, Linda Boyd Lawhon. Brenda is survived by her sister, Debra Morris Sheikh; brother, William H. Morris, III; nephews, James Michael Lawhon, Michael Lee Payne, and Jeffrey David Lawhon; niece, Michelle Ann Payne; numerous great-nieces and nephews, friends, and her beloved cats, Jinx and Blossom.
