Bobbye Core passed into her Lord's arms on April 6, 2016. She was the youngest of six children, and was born June 18, 1931 in Palo Pinto County, Texas, near the town of Lipan, to John and Willie (Walters) Langley. In Bobbye's early years she resided in Lipan, Santo, Ranger, and Weatherford. After graduating from Weatherford High School in 1948, Bobbye married her first husband Clyde Clary and resided in Mineral Wells, Texas where they reared two children. She was an active member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, employed at the Baker Hotel, EDO Aire Corp, and was a member of the Mineral Wells Square Dance Club, and the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. She later married her current husband, Larry Core. While maintaining a permanent home in Mineral Wells, Bobbye and Larry resided in Irving, Texas, Bedford, Texas, and Grove City, Ohio. After Larry's retirement, Mineral Wells became their permanent home. Bobbye was employed in wholesale jewelry sales, medical supply sales, and was a caregiver and nanny. Her final career as a Nanny to infants was the most satisfying, giving her great joy. Many of Bobbye's "children" continue to stay in touch years after her service with them. She liked to travel by car, visiting almost all of the lower 48 states. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel from 6-8pm. A funeral Service will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel at 10am. She is survived by her husband, Larry Core; children, Clydora L Clary White from Las Vegas, Nevada, Chris T. Clary,and Tammye Clary from Mineral Wells, Texas; grandchildren, Christy White from Redondo Beach, California, Renee Clary Yingst from Austin, Texas, Erica White from Pasadena, California, Sherri and Johnny Miller from Mineral Wells, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brittany Yingst and Brandon Yingst from Austin, Texas; sisters-in-law, Barbara Core from Shawnee, Oklahoma, Shirley Sanders from Lynnwood, Washington, and Sherillin "Sheryl" Core from Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers; Charles Langley and Guthrie "Jack" Langley, and three sisters; Marie Langley Twadell, Odessa Langley Kitchens, and Essie Langley Harrell. The family is thankful for the Certified Nurse's Aides who were Bobbye's dedicated caregivers.
