Bobbie Worsham

May 27, 1943 — July 3, 2015

Bobbie Earl Worsham, a long time resident of Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas, lost her battle with cancer and went to meet her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2015. Born on May 27, 1943 in Weatherford, Texas to parents Stephen Grady Myers and Stella Louise Myers. Her mother died when Bobbie was 3 years old and she was raised by her daddy, two sisters, and a loving community. Bobbie lived many places before marrying Aubrey Worsham on December 21, 1991 and they settled in Possum Kingdom Lake where she quickly became an active part of the community. She served as secretary for the local fire department as well as secretary/treasurer for the First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom Lake. Her greatest joy was her love and faith in Jesus Christ and her days were filled with service to her church, her family, and her community. She loved to travel, listen to Southern Gospel Music, and could light up a room with her smile. She never met a stranger and treated everyone she met with dignity and respect, she will be missed by all. Bobbie is survived by her loving husband: Aubrey Worsham, daughter: Tina Brewer, son: Eddie Paxston and wife Angie, daughters: LaTonda Coleman and Sheila Wallace along with their husbands: Eric and Cricket, grandchildren: Christopher Paxston, Francis Wampler, Timothy Wallace, Mandy Wallace, and Richard Coleman, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters: Beth Branon and Nelwyn Lack and husband Richard, several nieces and nephews, special niece: Terri Cowan, lifelong friends: Joyce Allen and Susan Nicklas, and too many friends to count. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom in Bobbie memory. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom. Burial will follow in McAdams Cemetery. Visitation is Monday form 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
