Billy Pullum

Bill was born April 10, 1931 at Steelville, Missouri, to John B. Pullum and Sybil (Endsley) Pullum. He died May 7, 2019.Graveside service will be held at Woodland Park Cemetery Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m.He married Laura M. Perry on April 14, 1956 at Miami, AZ. Bill retired from the Air Force in 1971 as a Tech Sergeant. He worked at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant for a short time, then was employed at the McAlester Regional Hospital for 14 years, retiring in 1988 as Director of Maintenance. He enjoyed RV-ing and spending winters in South Texas. He was also an avid fisherman until he had to give up his favorite pastime due to health problems.He is survived by his wife Laura, of Mineral Wells; two sons: Warren of Mineral Wells and Carl (Pat) of Rogers, AR. Sister: Wanda Goehring of Minden, Nevada, and several nephews and nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Earnest Leon Pullum and Johnny Pullum, sister Verna Miller, brothers-in-law, Elmer Miller and Jerald Goehring, and nephew Bradley Wilkerson. He is also missed by his very special canine friend, Scooter.
