Billy Gillmore

Billy Don Gillmore went to his reward after 83 years on April 6, 2015. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Billy was born in Quitaque, Texas; the son of the late George and Katie (Hill) Gillmore. Billy loved his chosen profession as a firefighter; he retired as a chief arson investigator from Arlington Fire Department. After retiring he spent time with family and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He is survived by wife of 58 years Hester Gillmore, sons, Gregory Don Gillmore and David Kip Gillmore; daughter, Melissa Ann Burgess and husband Paul; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family is providing a celebration of his life on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 11:00AM at Possum Kingdom Community Church 251 North FM 2353 Graford, Texas.
