Billy Fox

Billy Louis Fox, 75, of Mineral Wells, went to be with our Heavenly Father July 24, 2015. Billy was born May 26, 1940 on Commerce Texas; the son of Hurshel and Ora Lee Fox. He married the love of his life, Betty on May 2, 1973 and spent the next 40 years in Mineral Wells. Billy drove a truck for 50 years where he met many very dear friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In his later years his world revolved around his grandchildren. He had a very special love for each of them. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Fox; mother, Ora Lee Fox of Slayton, Texas; sons, Billy Ray Fox of Lubbock, Howard (Butch) Unerfusser and Robert Unerfusser both of Mineral Wells; his daughter Tammie and husband Mickey Oliver of Mineral Wells; brothers, Don Fox of Channelview, Texas, and Cecil and wife Michelle Fox of Lubbock; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by father, Hurshel Fox, 2 sons, Chad and Carlos Fox and a sister-in-law, Barbara Fox. Visitation will be Sunday July 26, from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be Monday July 27, 10am in the funeral home chapel; burial will follow at Staggs Prairie Cemetery.
