Billie Bethune

Billie Marie Wright Bethune, 72, passed away September 21, 2015 in a Fort Worth Hospital. She was born December 9, 1942 in Mineral Wells the daughter of Harvey and Hattie Whitehead Wright. She married John(ny) Bethune Sr. on June 5, 1966 in Mineral Wells. She was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Southside Church of Christ. She worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Paul Duesterheft for 21 years. She loved her church, friends, family, and especially her GRANDkids. Services will be 11 AM Friday, September 25, 2015 at Southside Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Misti and Greg Schaefer of Graham, Johnny Jr. and Shannon Bethune of Mineral Wells, GRANDkids: Emily Paige Schaefer, Lauren Elizabeth Schaefer, Tom Bethune, Lillie Bethune, and Daisy Bethune, sister and brother-in-law: Delores and Burton Parks of Mineral Wells, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Lanny Reynolds of LaRue, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband on June 6, 2005. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Southside Church of Christ, or the charity of your choice in her memory. The family requests that instead of traditional black clothing everyone wear bright cheery colors for her celebration of life service.
