Beulah Mae Wooten passed away on January 6, 2020, one day shy of her 91st birthday. She was born January 7, 1929 in Hobart, Oklahoma. Beulah was a nurse at the Nazareth Hospital and the nursing administrator at Palo Pinto Nursing and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Laura Wade Hale; husband, Charles Houston Mahan; granddaughter, Lynn Marie Wooten; 3 brothers, Alvin Hale, William D. Hale, and Freddie Joe Hale.
Survivors include her children, Charles Mahan and wife Lois, Lavenia Kindiger and husband Theron, Patricia Clary and husband Charles, Ronnie Wooten and wife Terrie; grandchildren, Scott Mahan, Adam Mahan, Lauren Mahan, Brian Jenkins, Jamie Jenkins, Melissa Jenkins, Tyra Lynch, Julie Lamb, Mendy Busby, Steve Kindiger, Tara Kizer, Kimberly Carter, Matthew Stephens, James Wooten, Taren McLain, Ronnie Wooten, Jr.; 31 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church with burial following at Woodland Park Cemetery.
