Betty Jane Popp McCoy

Betty Jane Popp McCoy, 80, passed away May 14, 2018 in Mineral Wells. She was born August 24, 1937 in Palo Pinto County the daughter of Adolph John and Louise Frances Nowak Popp. She married Lloyd Clifton McCoy on June 26, 1954 at St. Boniface Catholic Church at Dodson Prairie. She was a longtime resident of Fortune Bend. She was a member of our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. The Mass will be 10 AM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Fortune Bend Cemetery. The Rosary will be 6 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Debra and Todd McKinney, Darlene and Weldon Kanady, Lois and Gary Wheat, Don and Gwyn McCoy, and Judy Stumpfrock, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, her husband: Lloyd McCoy on March 2, 2017, and her son: Jimmy Keith McCoy.
