Betty Jean Head

Betty Jean Head, 71, passed away July 13, 2009 at her residence in Mineral Wells. She was born December 22, 1937 in Vernon the daughter of William L. and Berrilla Harriett Goff Boyd. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Weatherford. Graveside services will be 9 AM Friday, July 17, 2009 at Staggs Prairie Cemetery with Ralph Boyd officiating. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jack E. and Kim Head of Weatherford, grandchildren and spouses: Justin R. and Ashley Head of Lakenheath Air Force Base, England, Erica and Carlos Dasilba of Stephenville, Rodney and Michelle Fowler of Keller, great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Landon, Kristen, and Kaj, brother and sister-in-law: Ralph and Ann Boyd of Weatherford, niece: Barbara Boyd of Weatherford, nephew and spouse: David and Susan Boyd of Mineral Wells, and great-nephews: Collin, Evan, and Rhys. She was preceded in death by her parents.
