Bessie Marqaruite Wade

Mrs. Bessie Marqaruite Wade, age 86, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on May 19, 2009, at The Rosewood Care Center in Killeen, Texas, following an extended illness. Mrs. Bessie Wade was born on August 24, 1922, in Fayettville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Clarence and Mrs. Laura May Shirell. Mrs. Bessie Wade was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, Texas and The First Baptist Church of Killeen, Texas.Survivors include: son, Jack Wade of Killeen, TX; daughters, Sue Ann Balderson of Warsaw, VA; Donna Kay Soar of Douglas, GA; Kezia Lee May of Graford, TX; 15 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Kenneth H. Wade of Mineral Wells, TX on August 6, 2004; two brothers, Douglas and Paul Shirrell and her parents.Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 at 11:00 A.M., at the Sturdivant Cemetery, in Mineral Wells, TX, with Rev. David Montoya officiating. The Baum-Carlock-Bumgardnar Funeral Home of Mineral Wells is in charge of arrangements.Memorials can be made to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Killeen, Texas or the Calvary Baptist Church of Mineral Wells, Texas.
