Bessie Lee Berry

Bessie Lee Berry, 101, passed away November 9, 2014 in a Mineral Wells hospital. She was born August 21, 1913 in Gatesville, Texas the daughter of Melvin and Jennie Shirley Owen. She married George Berry on February 27, 1932 in Weatherford. She was a longtime resident of PK Lake and Graford and a member of the Graford Church of Christ for 60 plus years. She was a past member of the Eastern Star, the PK Woman's Club, and the Graford Fire Auxiliary. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Graford Church of Christ. Burial will follow in McAdams Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-7:30 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Peggie and Chad Boone of Mineral Wells, Nancy Parker of Arlington, Janie and Buddy Blue of Salesville, sister: Bobbie Grace Ratliff of Logi, California, sister-in-law: Jean Owen of Fresno, California, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 7, 1985, and her daughter: Shirley Berry Warren.
