Bertha Glidewell

Bertha Josephine Glidewell, 84, passed away December 5, 2013 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born September 1, 1929 in Pittsburg, Texas the daughter of David C. and Fannie Peterson Henson. She married Joe M. Glidewell on October 18, 1946 in Weatherford. She was a member of the Sherriff's Posse Auxiliary. She went to Mineral Wells High School. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday December 10, 2013 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Weldon and Phyllis Glidewell, Larry and Mercy Glidewell, daughters and sons-in-law: Sandra and Joe Meyer, Serena and Donnie Wigginton, Terri Glidewell, step-daughter: Charlotte Fagan, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 29, 1991, 2 brothers, and 6 sisters.
