Berneece Clarke

Berneece Clarke, 89, passed away March 15, 2015 in a Mineral Wells hospital. She was born July 8, 1925 in Rice, Texas the daughter of Alvin and Leona Moody Clark. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of 11th Avenue Church. She worked at the Mineral Wells Index as a bookkeeper for 43 years. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11th Avenue Church with Charles Mays officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Jack Lowey, Dick Choate, Richard Stilwell, Robert Shiflet, Earl Brant Clark, and Craig Clarke. She is survived by her sister: Jann Clarke of Mineral Wells, and several nieces and nephews including Earl Clark of Mineral Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Charles Clarke, Dubart Clark, and Don Clarke.
