Benny Royce Light

Benny Royce Light, 62, passed away April 19, 2012 in a Decatur hospital. He was born January 24, 1950 in Mineral Wells the son of Royce Sammy and Marilyn Frances Wilson Light. He married Kathleen Haag on October 6, 1973 at PK Lake. He was a lifetime resident of Palo Pinto County and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was a painter and retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was in Little League for 12 years. Services will be 10 AM Monday, April 23, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Worship Center with Father Balaji Boyall and Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Graford Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Kathy Light of Mineral Wells, children and spouses: Lynae and Mark Vossburg of Saginaw, Larry and Donna Marx of Suffolk, Virginia, Amy Light of Mineral Wells, Sammy and April Light of Keller, grandchildren: Tiffany Alexander, Mason Glover, Avery and Cara Strube, sisters and brothers-in-law: Teresa and Butch Cason of Graford, Shannon and Tim Smith of Trinidad, Colorado, special uncle: Jerry Wilson of Graford, his special friends at the round table at Graford Cafe, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.
