Belba Marie Floyd, 69, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 in Weatherford, TX. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. Rev. Nathan Buchanan and Rev. James Scarborough will conduct the services. Pallbearers will be Robbey Rogers, Josh James, Jacob James, Jerry Friedel, Justin Floyd and Trent Grey. Burial will be at the Floyd Cemetery located on the family ranch in Parker County. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Belba was born August 25, 1940, in Olney, Texas, the daughter of Grady and Nola Laird Malcolm. She married Donald Ray Floyd December 4, 1959, in Olney and moved to Mineral Wells in 1962. She was emcee for Spring Creek Musical, she loved interior decorating and her horses, friends and family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Don Floyd of the home; daughters, Janice James of Mineral Wells, Donice Rogers and husband, Rickey of Longview, Lisa Walters and husband Doug, of Weatherford; son, David Floyd and wife Tracy, of Weatherford; grandchildren, Joshua James, Jacob James, Vanessa James, Robbey Rogers, Jerry Friedel, Justin Floyd, Nathan Walters and Shane Walters; four great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Alcorn of Fort Worth; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Malcolm, mother, Nola Malcolm, sister, Lavern Beatchel and one grandson, Jeremy Don James .
