Beauford Hamilton

Beauford Duane Hamilton December 23, 1948 - October 4, 2015. A celebration of life and home going to the Father for Beauford Duane Hamilton will be held at First Baptist Church Santo, Texas, on Wednesday, October 7, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. Duane was born on December 23, in Cleburne, Texas. He departed this life on Sunday, October 4 at his home in Santo with his family at his side. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to FBC Santo Food Pantry, Santo Area Meals on Wheels, or the Brazos Volunteer Fire Department. Duane leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years Marsha (Edwards), his son Matthew (Michelle) of Cimarron, KS, son Mark (Jennifer) of Mineral Wells, daughter Haley (Matthew) Price of Santo, and beloved granddaughter, Kennedy Price. He is also survived by his mother Billie Jean Ellis of Santo, brother Dan Hamilton of Weatherford, and brother Greg Hamilton of Dallas. Duane also leaves behind a precious sister and brother-in-law Melinda and Kenneth (Gene) Edwards of Santo and a special aunt Joy Miller of Weatherford. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, church family and friends. He was preceded by his father Arvie G. Hamilton. Micah 6:8 sums up the life of this wonderful man: "He has showed you, O man, what is good and what does the Lord require of you. To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
