Barbara A. Hagar Miller

Barbara A. Hagar Miller, 74, passed away January 28, 2010 in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born September 22, 1935 in Ranger the daughter of Bailey and Nona Diamond Hagar. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church singing in the choir, was a soloist, and taught Sunday school. She was a member of North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford for 23 years. She was the current president of the Palo Pinto General Hospital Auxiliary. She worked at Fort Wolters in Mineral Wells for 4 years, Weatherford ISD for 7 years, and retired from TXU in 1992 after 14 years. The family is holding a memorial service 2 PM Sunday, January 31, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. She is survived by her husband of 56 years: W. R. "Bill" Miller of Mineral Wells, sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Ann Miller of Amarillo, Barry and Liz Miller of San Antonio, daughter and son-in-law: Becky and Nelson Schiller of Bedford, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and brothers and sisters-in-law: Bailey and Sandy Hagar of California, Gary and Diane Hagar of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Dorothy.
