Audry Josephine Perkins, 97, passed away June 26, 2011 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born August 2, 1913 in Graford the daughter of Jessie Luther and Catherine Omal Hopkins DeBusk. She married Hurchel D. Perkins on April 6, 1932 in Walters, Oklahoma. She was a seamstress and made many wedding dresses and she crocheted. She was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. Services will be 10 AM Friday, July 1, 2011 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Staggs Prairie Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Vada and Kenneth Burns of Macon, Georgia, grandchildren: Kenneth Neil Burns of Marianna, Florida, Peggy Sue Burgamy of Macon, Georgia, Julie Ann Burns of Aplharetta, Georgia, and Curry Lynn Perkins of Frisco, and his mother: Anna Jenkins Perkins Parry of Granbury. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on August 4, 1989, her son: Leslie Perkins on August 29, 2004, and brothers: Nolan and Arthur DeBusk.
