Arthur "David" Jackson, 50, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2014 at a Fort Worth hospital. David was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. He was employed as a kitchen supervisor with Camp Grady Spruce in Possum Kingdom for 10 years, and later worked for TxDOT as an Engineering Technician in the Traffic section for 18 years. David loved being outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt. David loved his family and he especially loved to cook for them. At holiday gatherings, he would always be up early in the morning preparing a breakfast feast. It was something his family looked forward to and he enjoyed very much. He was preceded in death by father, Edward Jackson, grandparents JC and Nina Jackson and AC and Virgie Robbins. David is survived by his mother Norma Jackson of Round Rock, Texas; brother Danny Jackson and wife Diana of Round Rock, Texas; daughters Brittany Nordin and husband Will of Sanger, Texas and Crystal Jackson of Crowley, Texas; one granddaughter Skyleigh Jackson of Sanger, Texas; niece Casey Jackson of Round Rock, Texas and nephew Matthew Jackson of Round Rock, Texas. A private graveside service for the family was held on July 15, 2014 at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells, Texas.
