Annis "Sissy" Heath, 71, of Mineral Wells passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 27, 2013 and is now in her Lord's arms. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Claude and Matilda (Mayes) Baker. Some would say she had a rough life growing up, but Sissy took it in stride. At a young age she had to care for her siblings and later in life her husband died at a young age and she took the role of single caregiver to all her own children and any others in the neighborhood. She would have given you the shirt off her back if you asked for it. She was also known as Granny in her neighborhood. Sissy loved flowers and when she had some spare time she would tend to her garden. She also cherished her time camping at the lake with her family. Everyone knew the plans for the holidays. You would be at Granny's house enjoying family time and eating her special creations only available during the holidays. With such a large family, everyone has their own memories and special times with Sissy. She will be missed dearly by all she touched. She leaves behind sons Ronnie Heath, Dennis and wife Candy; daughters Pearl Heath, Angel Jimenez and husband John; sisters Mary, Girly, Jane, April and Trudy; brothers Tommy, Marlin, and Mannie; grandchildren Johnathon Jimenez, Cody Heath, Nichole Heath, Zack Howell, Ethan Baker, Rickey Starr, Jeremiah Heath, Josh Heath, Jessie Starr and Little Richie Heath; great-grandson Haden August Dempsey along with numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends. She is preceded in death by Edd Baker and sister Minnie Hunt. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
