Anna Charlene Jordan

Anna Charlene Jordan, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with Jesus on June 2, 2020, at the age of 83. She was born January 24, 1937 in Strawn, Texas to Chester and Sadie Walker. She was employed with Perry Equipment Corporation where she retired. She was also employed with Mitchell’s Industry for a short time and a caregiver after she retired. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Santo where she made many friends. Anna lived in Palo Pinto County most of her life with the exception of living in Eugene, Oregon for about 6 months, in Hillsboro, Texas for about 2 years and Corpus Christi for about 2 years.

Anna is survived by 4 children, Debra Dalton of Santo, Donna and Joe Paul Cooper of Clifton, Linda and David Calvin of Graham, Allen Dale and Michelle Jordan of Pittsburg, Kansas; brothers, Huffin and Coleen Walker, Joe and Nancy Walker; sisters, Peggy Lewis, Joyce Spurlock; a brother-in-law, Pete Thurman. She had 8 grandchildren, Shonda and Craig Rowland, Leanna Jo Auld, Cheryl Ann Dalton, Stephen Cobb, Michael Cobb, Joshua Cobb, Cooper Dale Jordan, and Myra Jordan; 6 great-grandchildren, Colton Edwards, Caylin Edwards, Emma Edwards, Dessi Zaloski, Whitney Zaloski, and Tyler Patton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Sadie; brother, Gene Walker; sister, Midge Thurman; brother-in-law, O’Brien Lewis, and Eugene Spurlock; and nephew, Eddie Lewis.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 5 at South Bosley Cemetery in Santo. Please practice social distancing and feel free to wear a mask if you feel the need.
