Anna Jean Gilbert

Anna Jean Gilbert, 89, went to be with her savior Jesus Christ on February 24, 2018, from her home in Mineral Wells. Anna was born April 9th, 1928, in Lavon , Texas , as the daughter of Thomas Miles and Eura Sweet Williams. Anna was married to Mason Estes Gilbert in 1947. She resided in Mineral Wells for over 70 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.Services will be held at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, Texas, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. Nathan Buchanan which is the pastor of First Baptist Church Mineral Wells, will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Dobbs Valley Cemetery, Palo Pinto County, Texas. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Thursday until the service time.Anna is survived by her sister, Tommie Jo Douthitt of Lavon; brother, R.J. Williams and wife Anita of Rockwall, TX; her nieces Betty Douthitt of Lavon, Laura Whitmore of Shawnee, OK, and Carol Williams of Heath, TX; and nephew Tom Williams of Plano, TX; her church family; and many friends. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Eura Williams; her husband, Mason Estes Gilbert; and her son, Daniel Estes Gilbert.
