Amelia Cienega

Amelia Morales Cienega, 80, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away February 24, 2014 in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born February 10, 1934 in Mexico the daughter of Florentino and Mariana Narvaez Morales. She married Alberto Cienega in February of 1950 in Sweetwater. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was a Guadalupana for many years. She owned and operated La Cienega since 2000. Mass will be 2 PM Friday, February 28, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Rosary is 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: Alberto Cienega Sr., sons: Alberto Cienega Jr., Daniel Cienega and wife Brenda, Jesse Cienega and wife Kathy, daughters: Delia Ortega and husband Tony, and Martha Cienega, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her son: Tony Cienega.
