Alpheus Myers "Big Al" Loughner Jr., 80, passed away June 2, 2012 in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born February 14, 1932 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania the son of Alpheus Myers Sr. and Jetty Mae Lydick Loughner. He married Leona Swauger on July 4, 1969 in Texas. He had lived at Possum Kingdom Lake for the past 12 years and in Arlington prior to that. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Leona Loughner of Possum Kingdom Lake, children and spouses: Bonnie Green of New Jersey, Lois and Rick Hawk of New Jersey, Marlene Hawk of New Jersey, Robert and Molly Dickle of New Jersey, Leonard and Lisa Loughner of Mansfield, Todd Loughner of San Antonio, 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and brother: Delmus Loughner of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Aldene and Betty.
