Allen Beaty

Allen Howard Beaty, 84, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Bellevue, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents: brothers, James Beaty and Bedford Beaty; sister, Bettie Lou Long. Allen was born June 10, 1931 to Curtis and Ruth Beaty in Lone Camp, Texas. He graduated from Santo High School in 1950. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rita Beaty. Allen served in the US Army. He was owner of Beaty Overhead Garage Door Company in Port Neches, Texas for 49 years. After retiring in 2009, he and his wife, Rita moved to Papillion, NE.to be near his grandsons, and great-grandsons. Until failing health, Allen was an avid gardener and loved to help his son, Chris with grounds work at VFW Post. He is survived along with his wife, Rita Beaty; son and spouse, Chris and Anne Beaty of Bellevue, NE. Grandsons and spouses Adam and Sarah Beaty of Bellevue, NE., Justin Beaty of Bellevue, NE., and Todd and Alexis Beaty of Portland, Oregon. Also, great-grand sons, Jack, David, Jarrin and Kade Beaty all of Bellevue, NE. Sister -in-law, Betty McFatter of Groves, Texas, one niece Kim Tweedel, of Houston, nephews, Jim Tweedel, of Port Arthur, TX and Michael Tweedel of Groves, TX. one great-nephew, Tyler Tweedel of Boston, MA. A graveside service will be at 10 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at New Hope Cemetery, Lone Camp, Texas. Memorials can be sent to American Cancer Association or American heart Association or the charity of Choice. Donations can be sent to New Hope Cemetery or Lone Camp Community center.
