Allan Royce Lusk, Sr, 77 of Mineral Wells, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 in a Fort Worth Hospital after a lengthy illness. Allan was born in Mineral Wells on May 2, 1938, the youngest of 9 to Sidney and Dewdrop Bennett Lusk. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1956 and married Teresa Ann Springfield of Weatherford in 1961. He was a flight line supervisor for General Dynamics, and later worked as a truck driver for Southwestern Gas for over 25 years. Allan was a former board member for the MWHS 50 Year Club, board member for MW Senior Center and enjoyed helping with the Senior Center Fundraising Garage Sale while he was still able. He also spent several years as equipment manager for the Palo Pinto Co. Soil Conservation Service. Allan loved all aspects of his family, from coaching little league for his boys, softball for his girls and attending every game or activity possible for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His grands and greats were the light of his life and lit his face with a smile until the end. Services will held at First Baptist Church, Mineral Wells on Thursday July 9th at 2PM with Interment at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the family home at 195 Gene Lee Rd on Wednesday, July 8th from 6-8PM Allan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Teresa, daughters, Kay Lynn Bridges & husband, Travis of Possum Kingdom Lake, Kathy Massie and husband Forrest of Millsap, sons Allan Royce Lusk, Jr (Bubba) and wife Kathy Jo of Mineral Wells, and Craig Lusk and wife Rebecca of Austin. Grandchildren - Lucas Bridges, Eli Bridges and wife Emily, Shanae Flanigan and husband Ryan, Sharee Cupp and husband Dallas, Whitney Martin and husband Chad, Bailee Lusk and Harry Small, Alli Jo Lusk, Addison Lusk, Alyssa Lusk and Jakob Lusk, Fallin Sykora and husband Dustin Great grandchildren - Emma Bridges, Colin Flanigan, McKenna Cupp, Kodee Cupp, Charlee Martin, Sami Martin, Jaylon Small and Loclyn Sykora He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and family friends and will be missed by all who knew him. Allan was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mineral Wells Senior Center
