Aline Gonzales 83 of Mineral Wells passed away on October 14, 2015. Rosary will be Sunday starting at 6-8 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral Mass will be Monday, October 19 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Aline was born in Coleman, Texas; the daughter of Gilbert "Hill" Nunez and Elvira Ramirez Nunez. Aline and her husband Marcus were in the restaurant business here in Mineral Wells for most of their working life.Aline loved family and family traditions; she was very creative and loved crafts. She loved to sew, garden and cook. When she was spending time with grandchildren, she was always happy and proud to teach daughters and granddaughters to sew, cook, prepare holiday meals, and host her annual tamale making event. Her specialty was making quilts for all her family, making baby quilt to welcome her new family members. She was known by her grandchildren and great grandchildren as mudder, grandma, and amaw and to be "the bestest cooker". She was loved and will be missed by so many.Aline is survived by Husband of 65 years of marriage, Marcus Ornelas Gonzales; sons, Robert (Marsha) Gonzales of Mineral Wells and Gilbert (Melissa) Gonzales of Grand Prairie; daughters, Linda (Gabriel) Moreno of Mineral Wells, Joanne (Nick) Lashmet of Arlington, Mary (Edward) Moreno of Granbury and Virginia Gonzales of Mineral Wells; 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 5 brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by grandson, Jeremy SanMiguel; parents, Gilbert Nunez and Elvira Nunez, and 3 sisters
