Albert David Cross, 77, of Mineral Wells, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009at his home. Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, June 20, at the BethelBaptist Church, Rev. Willie Nickerson, Sr., officiating. Visitation will be6-8 PM Friday. Burial will be in the Woodland Park Cemetery.Mr. Cross was born February 11, 1932, in Mineral Wells, the son of Leon, Sr.and Alberta Smith Cross and lived in Mineral Wells all his life. He was amember of Hughes Chapel CME Church.Survivors include his wife, Lula Jean Cross of Mineral Wells; daughters,Sandra Marie Woosley and husband, Darryl Nelson of Mineral Wells andPatricia Joyce Fisher and husband Floyd of Mineral Wells; 7 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Cross, Sr., of Mineral Wells,Leslie Cross of Lubbock and Herbert Cross and wife Ruby of Lufkin;son-in-law, Cleland Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews.
