Albert Chriestenson

Albert Chriestenson, 61, of Mineral Wells, went to live forever in the House of the Lord, after a lengthy illness. Memorial services, officiated by Rev. Mark Alcorn, will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m,.Baum Carlock Baumgardner Funeral Home Chapel in Mineral Wells. Albert was a work-aholic until his untimely retirement from Devon Energy in 2009, after 34 years in the oil and gas industry. Albert loved interacting with his children; but the light of his world was his four grandchildren. Any of those kiddos could walk in the room, even on a bad day, and his world was a much brighter place. Albert is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Robbie; his two sons and daughter's in law, Chad and Ashley and Robert and Terrie; his most loved and adored grandchildren, Baylee, Colten, Kassie and Kendal; his daddy, Floyd Chriestenson; his brothers and their wives, Floyd Eugene and Debbie and Don and Phyliss, his nephews and nieces and their spouses, Michael and wife Tonya, Cody and wife Brenda, Shannon and husband Brian Prater, Becky and husband Jonah Salazar; his great nieces and nephews Kaitlyn, Shanda, Cassel and Cy; his mother in law, Bobbie Smith; sister in law, Renda Smith. Beloved as a son, his friend, Chris Gossett; along with many other relatives and friends. Albert will be greeted in Heaven by his mom and nephew, Arlene and Robbie Chriestenson; and other family and friends. In saying good bye we sometimes may not say thank you often enough for all those who have helped us along the way with an on-going illness. Please, let us tell you now we sincerely appreciate every person who smiled, said a positive word, asked about us, prayed, or helped in ways that you may not have known assisted us through our loss.
