She was born October 2, 1943 to the late Longino Trevino and Guadalupe Maria Perez in Glen Flora, Texas and was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. Mass will be 2 PM Monday, January 9, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church with Father Balaji Boyalla officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. The Rosary is 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. "Fina" was a kind, loving, amazing, beautiful person with a huge heart and an awesome sense of humor. She loved life and had a positive outlook on everything. Her unconditional love for her children went above and beyond and her generosity was limitless. She loved music, loved to dance, and loved to laugh. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her children and grandchildren and planting vegetables, fruits, and beautiful flowers. She went to the movies often and enjoyed going to the park and watch kids play. She had a huge love for her cat named "Moo" and constantly fed her chicken legs when no one was watching. She loved each and every one of her grandchildren with all her heart as they are her legacy. She was an amazing grandma as well as a best friend. During her times of employment, she worked at Church's Fried Chicken, the Country Club, Comet's Cleaners, bartended and waitressed and was an elevator girl for the Baker Hotel. She battled breast cancer over 30 years ago and beat it. She was a strong woman who overcame all obstacles with her faith alone. She was more than a mother, she was a gift from God. Her beautiful smile and her loving heart will live in our hearts forever, and may she fly with the beautiful angels till we see her again. She was our teacher, our best friend, and most importantly our beautiful, precious, loving mother.
