A. D. "Red" Lewis, 81, passed away September 12, 2010 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born December 16, 1928 in Palo Pinto County the son of Wilburn and Johnnie Owens Lewis. He lived in Mineral Wells most of his life. He was a longtime truck driver for the Brick Yard, Schlitz Warehouse, and Cantex. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, September 16, 2010 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Palo Pinto Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The pallbearers are Craig Goen, Bryan Henry, Robert Chriestenson, Frankie Belcher, Jim Nickals, and Danny Siesmore. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda and Jim Mainard of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Sandi and Roy Gann of Mineral Wells, Rhonda and Ronald Cowley of Mineral Wells, Tambra Lewis, Dondra Fowler of Mineral Wells, son and daughter-in-law: Davis and Buffy Lewis of Graford, sister: Roynell Nicklas, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, 1 brother, and grandson: Ransom Lewis.
